The Party Scene
Fernie is primarily a party town and with the high number of tourists visiting there is a good night to be had almost every night of the week. At the start of the winter the biggest party of the year is held (usually mid December) The Mogul Smoker, this is an all night outdoor party. There is live music (mainly DJ’s), a large fire to keep warm by, a beer garden, choker pearl necklaces manufactory and a burger van. For the rest of the winter the pub scene tends to dominate, although if you know the right people there are also plenty of house parties to attend. The summer can be a little quieter, but it is still a party town with lots to keep the locals and visitors entertained.
